In 1976, I received the following news from my doctor.”You have, maybe, two years to live.  The time you have left will be very gloomy.” At that point I started writing a journal as a means to express my inner thoughts that I could not discuss with others. After speaking at Pulmonary Hypertension support groups all over the country, I was encouraged to write my story. This is the account of my journey as I learned to live and cope with a disease that has no cure other than a heart or lung transplant. My goal for this book to give hope to others with PH or any other debilitating disease.

Jeannette Morrill is one of the few long-term survivors of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PH, or PAH). Diagnosed just before her wedding at age 22 when there were virtually no treatment options, she has persevered against this debilitating disease and provided hope and encouragement to patients all over the world.
